Sinful Ties is set in the city of Yeovil, UK. It is based in the world of Anita Blake, where vampires, shape shifters, werewolves, faeries, etc. exist. In 2007 England began the legalization process for Vampires, making them citizens of the UK. Present day The City of Yeovil has become the fore front in the governments liaisons and study into the preternatural world. They have had vast offices and study center's there for a number of years, a force not all have welcomed. Vampires are legal, they have rights, citizenship, but they are under a careful eye by the British government.
